Fragrance and flavour manufacturer Symrise has announced it is to acquire Futura Labs in a bid to strengthen its presence in North Africa and the Middle East.


Fragrance and flavour manufacturer Symrise has announced it is to acquire Futura Labs in a bid to strengthen its presence in North Africa and the Middle East.

The Egypt-based company is privately owned and produces fragrances, flavours, beverage compounds and emulsions.

No details of the acquisition have been announced but Symrise said in a statement that Futura Lab’s product portfolio was a good fit with its existing business in Egypt.
