Takasago buys Wessel Fragrances

Japanese flavours and fragrance producer Takasago International Corporation has reached an agreement to acquire Wessel Fragrances Inc, a producer and distributor of fragrance based in New Jersey.


Japanese flavours and fragrance producer Takasago International Corporation has reached an agreement to acquire Wessel Fragrances Inc, a producer and distributor of fragrance based in New Jersey.

Takasago expects that Wessel’s customer base combined with its own creative and technical strength will enable it to develop its business in global markets, particularly in the US.

The company states that it will not just increase net sales, it will also take over Wessel’s proprietary technology and continue Wessel’s close relationship with its customers.
