New from SPX Process Equipment is the Bran + Luebbe ProCam Sanitary pump. The EHEDG compliant model uses food-grade components that permit clean-in-place of the membrane pumpheads and valves. The pump can deliver up to 500 l/h at pressures of up to 20 bar and is said to measure precise volumes from as many as six combined pumps. Improved flow characteristics enhance the membrane pumpheads and valves for hygienic applications while allowing the adjustment of a variety of flow rates. The polished materials used are said to achieve a superior ease of cleaning and a resistance to corrosion. The ProCam Sanitary can be used with clean-in-place up to 150°C and steam-in-place with saturated steam of at least 120°C . The ProCam Sanitary has 20,000 hours of operation before maintenance.
