Seatons has launched a black seed oil, a new addition to their range of products for the personal care market.

The seeds were discovered in the last century in the tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings, illustrating the historical importance of the seeds in ancient Egypt, and are also mentioned in the Quoran and the Old Testament of the Bible. Black seed is known as the blessed seed due to its reputation for curing ailments.

Delicately fragranced, Seatons’ black seed oil is derived from the pitch black coloured seeds of Nigella sativa. Rich in polyunsaturates, the oil is said to be naturally compatible with the skin and Seatons also believes that the oil conjures up images of spice, warmth, longevity, mystery and inner peace.
