Two new sponsors for CEW (UK) Beauty Awards

CEW (UK) has signed two new sponsors for the 2009 Beauty Awards. Boots’ online retail site, www.boots.com and commercial radio group Global Radio have both inked deals with the organisation.


CEW (UK) has signed two new sponsors for the 2009 Beauty Awards. Boots’ online retail site, www.boots.com and commercial radio group Global Radio have both inked deals with the organisation.

Initial plans for the boots.com sponsorship will include a standalone Beauty Winners e-shop that will feature and retail all three finalist products from each category, according to boots.com beauty buyer, Celeste Sinclair.

“We have watched the development of the Beauty Awards over the last three years and we feel it is timely for us to become involved because we are refreshing our online beauty site,” she said.

Global Radio’s Heart station is to be the exclusive radio sponsor for the Beauty Awards and the deal will consist of a programme of activities across the Global Radio portfolio including Heart, Galaxy and LBC.

“These two exciting partnerships will allow us to take the Beauty Awards to another level,” said CEW (UK) president, Caroline Neville. “The Awards have served as a platform to highlight creativity and innovation in product, this fact is borne out by the increased number of new niche brands entering.”
