What women - and men - don't want
Taylor Nelson Sofres has found some surprising differences in what men and women find the biggest turn-offs in the opposite sex.
On average, 36% of men in Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Spain found body odour to be the greatest turn-off. This was followed by being overweight (15%), bad breath and bad teeth (11%) and hairy armpits (8%). Women are less forgiving of body odour, with 51% citing it as a turn-off. Bad breath revolts 17%, dirty fingernails offend 5% but only 4% are turned off by the overweight.
