Salvona has developed a new delivery system that is claimed to enhance fragrance performance for a variety of products.

The system, called MultiSal Fragrance, is comprised of solid lipophilic nanospheres encapsulated in a water or pH sensitive microsphere. The technology is designed to stabilise the fragrance, thus prolonging its shelf life and reducing interaction with other ingredients in the product base.

Based on multi-component delivery system MultiSal, which is composed of functional ingredients infused in sub-micron spheres that are then encapsulated in microspheres, Salvona’s development is recommended for anhydrous bases such as deodorant and underarm products, perfume sticks, body powder, foot powder and soap bars.
