YSL Beauté has launched a new matte foundation that promises to cover imperfections and shine without the heavy finish normally associated with matte foundations.

Matt Touch is said to deliver transparency, suppleness and radiance thanks to a new type of expandable silicone which forms a second skin on the face, while not compromising on colour or coverage.

The formula also contains white water lily extract, to help purify and freshen skin, as well as olive leaf extract and Enantia chlorantha bark extract, which help to refine dilated pores and control sebum. Invisible micro sponges also help to absorb excess oil on the skin, while YSL’s ampli light+ technology provides luminosity, thanks to pigments which diffuse light and hide imperfections.
