In collaboration with Kemira, Tri-K has introduced NanoGel, an innovative nanoemulsion chassis system that the company says offers an uncomplicated, user-friendly base.

Whereas nanoemulsions often require heat and high pressure equipment, NanoGel offers cosmetic formulators a range of products using one formulation and a basic mixer. It also provides minimised transepidermal water loss (TEWL) as well as enhanced skin protection and penetration of actives.

“NanoGel technology provides a simple process and system to create submicron emulsions from an easy-to-use, oil-in-water concentrate,” says Salvador Pliego, Tri-K’s senior director of business development.
