Cognis division Laboratoires Sérobiologiques has launched a hair care range consisting of seven new active ingredients. According to Cognis, LS Hair Salon addresses common hair problems while meeting consumer demand for a holistic product experience.
Two ingredients are formulated for frizz reduction: three-in-one biopolymer Phytosleek coats the hair in a flexible film layer to improve manageability, while Purisilk contains moringa seed micro-proteins, which improve curl resistance to deformation.
The other styling ingredient, Litchiderm, contains lychee extract, rich in polyphenol, to reduce colour fading and prevent photo-ageing.
LS Hair Salon’s other launches are designed for hair and scalp health. Phytosooth, a phytosterol and cetearyl alcohol compound, and Vegeless Propolis both have an anti-inflammatory effect on the scalp, while Vitaplex, an algae-rich ingredient, helps improve scalp vitality. Sebapure, the collection’s seventh ingredient, inhibits the enzyme responsible for scalp sebum production and can be used in products for preventing greasy hair.
