The external certification audit of Aarts Plastics from The Netherlands was recently conducted by DNV (Det Nosrske Veritas). It was an exceptional challenge for the company to be audited for three management systems.
Aarts Plastics successfully audited for the environment management system ISO 14001 as well as for the management system CSR Performance Ladder Corporate Social Responsibility version June 2010
Not only were ISO 14001 and Corporate Social Responsibility part of the Audit, but also ISO 9001 was prolonged.
The management of Aarts Plastics decided two years ago to focus on environment and corporate social responsibility. Initiatives were taken at all levels in the company and to express the company’s results in these fields it decided to involve the accredited Det Norske Veritas to have its initiatives audited.
The private company, founded in 1943, serves customers in the food-, medical and cosmetics industry. The last decade the company has evolved from an all round injection molding company to a specialist for customized caps and closures as well as compacts. Based in the Netherlands the company serves customers all over Europe.
