Breakout Beauty UK, the accelerator programme designed to discover and support UK beauty founders, has launched a new sister initiative focused on wellness.
Breakout Wellness follows a similar style to its original counterpart, launched in 2025 and returning in 2026 for a second edition, supporting wellness founders in scaling their businesses faster and becoming retail-ready.
Applications are now open here for the eight-week programme, which begins in September 2026 for ten selected participants.
Due to demand, the entry deadline for the Pure Beauty Awards has been extended until 24 July! Don't miss your chance to gain recognition from industry experts and consumers alike. Click here for more information.
The inaugural cohort will include businesses spanning gut health, functional nutrition, hydration, energy and recovery, longevity, sleep, stress management and women's health.
Breakout Wellness UK has secured the backing of several wellness business leaders and entrepreneur ambassadors, including Hamish Grierson, co-founder and CEO at UK-based health technology company Thriva, and Alana McFarlane Kempner, Founder and CEO at food brand The Gut Stuff.
The decision to create a programme focused entirely on wellness is due to the sector becoming among the most “dynamic” in the industry, the programme’s architect and co-founder at Growth Studio, Paul Finch, told Cosmetics Business.
