Breakout Beauty UK, the accelerator programme designed to discover and support UK beauty founders, is set to return in 2026 “bigger than ever” before.
The programme is offering £1m in support value this year, including a Grand Prize worth £850,000, which will be used to discover and fuel high-potential British beauty founders towards their next stage of development.
It is once again being supported by British beauty retailers Boots and TikTok Shop, and law firm Bird and Bird, alongside new business partners IFGlobal, Amcor, FDD International and CEW UK.
Have you launched an innovative product, brand or campaign in the past 12 months? Then you could be in with a chance of winning at this year's new and improved Pure Beauty Awards 2026. Click here for more information.
This year will also see “star-studded” support from beauty entrepreneurs, including Dragons’ Den Guest Dragon and Tropic Skincare founder Susie Ma, and television presenter and My Little Coco founder Rochelle Humes.
They are joined by last year’s ‘Beauty Board’, which includes Made by Mitchell brand founder Mitchell Halliday.
Applications for Breakout Beauty UK 2026 opened on 22 April, and once ten finalists are selected, the programme will commence in July and culminate in October 2026.
Beauty brands can enter their application here.
The Grand Prize winner will launch into 50 Boots stores, with additional marketing support, featuring mentoring sessions with senior Boots leaders.
Plus, a TikTok Shop prize featuring dedicated platform support, creator matchmaking, reduced fees and fulfilment benefits.
Luxury hair growth brand, ByErim, and refillable antiperspirant company, Make Waves, were named as winners last year.
The programme’s architect and co-founder at Growth Studio, Paul Finch, led the design of the “first-of-its-kind beauty” accelerator programme in 2025.
The overall success of the accelerator's debut last year “felt unexpected and incredible”, Finch told Cosmetics Business.
