Dow Corning’s 5562 Carbinol Fluid is said to deliver advanced dispersion across a wide spectrum of pigment colours.

“Thanks to enhanced pigment wetting and spreading, formulators can explore a broad colour patette and still feature a consistent application and feel,” says the company. The ingredient is said to enhance fragrance delivery, improve spreadability and have a non-sticky, soft feel.

The company has developed concept formulations for this ingredient and also for IlluminEyes. The latter features in a product promising a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and puffiness.
