AI innovative new solution for refillable

Vetroplas has launched Celine - a new 50 ml refillable glass jar manufactured by its Italian partner Eurovetrocap

At the heart of the Celine is an exclusive refill system, for which a patent application is  pending. This system is designed to make container reuse as simple as possible, making  every step – from removing the old refill to inserting the new one – intuitive and seamless.

Celine features a circular cross-section and a flush lid with slightly rounded edges. It has a  PP lid and an inner cup - also in PP - which can be sold separately as a refill. The refill cup is equipped with its own lid, with a bayonet closure and airtight seal.

This design allows for a simplified filling process whilst also meeting the needs of  small contract manufacturers which may not be equipped with sealing machines.

A key element of the system is the internal thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) ring, a  flexible yet durable material that acts as an interface between glass and plastic,  improving stability, precise positioning and ease of use during refilling. Once the cup  is inserted into the glass jar, the lid can easily be removed by twisting, aided by  the ergonomic grip.

When the product is finished, the empty cup can be removed by applying light  pressure to the inner side wall enabling easy replacement with a new refill.

The Celine jar also offers extensive customisation possibilities. The glass can be  decorated on the inside without risk of product contamination, opening new creative  opportunities for cosmetic brands and a strong visual impact on the shelf.
