Givenchy challenged Alcan Packaging Beauty to combine four loose powders in the same pack for its latest make-up collection, Prisme Libre. The base of the Prisme Libre powder case is an untreated crystal PMMA and thin walls divide the base into four cavities to give each powder its own space.

Black hot stamping is positioned on one side of the powder case and the ABS case bottom is ultrasound-welded to the base. Four untreated PP caps close off the cavities in the base and the openings allow the case to be filled in production. A bottom label masks the caps.

Fine perforations in the shape of the Givenchy logo positioned on the underside of the base allow the powders to fill the puff, with the upper part of the case forming a transparent brand logo against a mirror-effect background.

The cap comprises a black moulded PP screw cap bi-injected with a black SAN edge and a central SAN pink window with a black hot-stamped Givenchy logo. The logo is given more depth by means of a square mirror between the black and pink sections and the black screw part. This is then coated with a transparent gloss varnish to create an haute couture finish.
