AS Watson launches international programme

AS Watson International Buying has introduced a new programme under the banner Process for New to test new brands and ranges believed to have good business prospects across the group. New concepts and ranges are initially put in eight-week trials in Superdrug UK, Kruidvat Netherlands, Watsons Taiwan, Watsons Hong Kong and Watsons Singapore that lead to a full-scale launch.

New concepts and ranges are initially put in eight-week trials in Superdrug UK, Kruidvat Netherlands, Watsons Taiwan, Watsons Hong Kong and Watsons Singapore that lead to a full-scale launch.

The programme is already underway with two new brands introduced in the trial stores - Yes to Carrots (skin care) and Zoom Eyeworks (optical).

Watsons has also unveiled a Water 360° brand. Introduced in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia, Water 360° comprises products to rehydrate and revitalise skin. It is specially formulated with natural spring water, is alcohol-free with a mild pH and is dermatologically tested. The range includes facial wipes, wash, toner, facial spray, hydrating gel, eye gel and moisturising mask.
