Avon cosmetics has announced that it will form a collaboration with the James Bond franchise, property of Danjaq LLC and Eon Productions, in order to produce a women’s fragrance named Signature Bond Girl 007.
The fragrance will be available on the market in October 2008 timed in conjunction with the release of the new Bond film, Quantum of Solace, and will be sold exclusively through the Avon brochures and the company website. British actress Gemma Atherton, who plays a bond girl in the new film, is the face of the fragrance and will feature in all TV and print advertising for the scent.
Created by international fragrance creator Firmenich the scent will be formulated with top notes of white peach and orange blossom, followed by jasmine, calypso orchid and Freesia at the heart. The base notes consist of amber, cashmere wood and patchouli.
