Luxury candle brand Baobab Collection is opening its first UK store in London this April.
Currently the products are only available in the UK via high end department stores, such as Harrods and Selfridges.
But the new Knightsbridge location plans to become the brand's second flagship store, following the original in Brussels.
“It was natural for us to open a second flagship in London to truly develop our visibility worldwide,” said Corinne Bensahel, Senior Vice President Marketing and Brand Development for Baobab Collection.
Customers will be able to purchase the full Baobab Collection as well as the debut of its summer collection, Mikea.
The brand claims to specialise in “handcrafted” candles, as each one has been hand poured into glass vases that are created by artisan glassblowers.
In the brand’s latest collection, it worked with a Madagascan co-op to create the products, who will receive a percentage of the candle sales.
