The event will “deliver strategic thinking to the health and beauty industry,” said SPC and ECM managing editor Clare Henderson. “Delegate feedback from previous years has shaped the topics, speakers and structure of Beauty Focus 2009, so the conference offers more of what you want.”

The Cosmetic Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA’s) Paul Crawford has been confirmed as the latest speaker at Beauty Focus 2009. Crawford will deliver the morning’s keynote address at the event, which takes place 19 February at London’s Kensington Copthorne Tara Hotel. Crawford joins chair John Woodruff and fellow confirmed speakers: Steve Gibbons, md, Dew Gibbons; Jonathan Ford, creative partner, Pearlfisher; Peter Kelly, md, Taxi London Cosmetics Ltd; Martin Barrow, customer and projects manager, The Carbon Trust; and Stirling Murray, chief executive, The Core Business PLC.

Topics include consumer needs, packaging design, naturals and organics, realistic claims and male grooming.
