Beauty Focus 2010 unveils speaker line-up

Beauty Focus, the one-day conference and networking event, organised by SPC and ECM magazines has announced its speaker line-up for 2010. The event, which takes place at the Grange City Hotel in London on 2nd March will be divided into two sessions – the morning being dedicated to ethical business and the afternoon session looking at the current C&T market and how it will change in the future.

The event, which takes place at the Grange City Hotel in London on 2nd March will be divided into two sessions – the morning being dedicated to ethical business and the afternoon session looking at the current C&T market and how it will change in the future.

Speakers for the morning session include Organic Monitor’s Judi Beerling, who will discuss ethical sourcing; Chris Davis from the Fairtrade Foundation, who will look at sustainable sourcing; and Pearlfisher’s Jonathan Ford, discussing green packaging. A special panel discussion looking at how ethical sourcing can enhance your business will also take place, featuring speakers from Weleda, Neal’s Yard and Burts Bees.

Topics in the afternoon session will include nanotechnology, nutricosmetics, cosmeceuticals and beating the recession, and speakers will include Mintel’s Nica Lewis, Emma Meredith from the CTPA and C&T consultant Imogen Matthews.
