Barbara joined The Body Shop  in 1993 where she headed up the applied research team whose main objective was to seek out new natural ingredients for skin and hair care. In 1999 she moved to New York to work with Collaborative Laboratories, best known for liposome delivery systems and unusual performance ingredients. In 2004 she returned to Europe and found herself working with some of the most innovative suppliers in the personal care industry.
