Beyoncé launches new fragrance, Cé Lumière

The singer shared the launch with a series of golden-themed posts on Instagram

Beyoncé has introduced the latest addition to her fragrance collection, Cé Lumière. 

The launch was announced on Instagram, where Beyoncé shared a visual of the fragrance alongside the caption: "Cool still, raw earth, the desert sun, endless horizons, breathe, Cé Lumière, the golden era." 

The name ‘Lumière’, meaning ‘light’ in French, along with the golden illuminated bottle design, suggests a theme of radiance and brightness.

Cé Lumière features top notes of Madagascar black pepper and Italian mandarin, with middle notes of jasmine and rhubarb. 

The fragrance finishes with base notes of patchouli and musk.

Cé Lumière joins Beyoncé's expanding fragrance portfolio, which includes Heat, which launched in 2010, as well as Cé Noir, released in 2023 as her first new fragrance in over a decade.

The release comes on the heels of Beyoncé’s announcement of a summer tour in support of her Grammy Award-winning album Cowboy Carter. 

The tour will visit both the US and UK/Europe, with ticket prices ranging from £71 to £950.

Fans were quick to react in the comments of Cé Lumière’s launch post, with some humorously noting the ongoing releases from Beyoncé.

One fan joked, “Baby I love you, but I’m gonna have to Cé No this time”, while another added, “Read the room Beyoncé! We are broke!”
