Botaneco Specialty Ingredients has extended its Hydresia range with an almond-based variant, Hydresia Dulcé.


Botaneco Specialty Ingredients has extended its Hydresia range with an almond-based variant, Hydresia Dulcé.

The natural emulsion base retains all the functional properties of the sunflower derived Hydresia and Hydresia G2 but also offers skin feel benefits associated with sweet almond oil. Hydresia Dulcé is 99.55% natural, according to Ecocert, and is certified for use in both ecological and organic cosmetics. Moreover, it allows formulators to develop products using cold processing, which reduces time dramatically.

All three Hydresia products are comprised of Oleosomes, natural oil carrying structures derived from seeds. According to Botaneco, these serve as a natural storage facility for the emollient oils, antioxidants and natural moisture barriers that help keep skin soft.
