The development of BRB International BV has always been organic, due to our focus on innovations and to a problem solving approach in its markets.
Personal Care is the #1 market of BRB Silicones in Europe. Our manufacturing base is in the Netherlands and Malaysia. We are now broadening our Malaysian industrial footprint to further back integrate in dimethicone copolyols and alkyl dimethicones for a planned startup in 2015.
In the Personal Care industry, in addition to a competitive and broad product range, a technical support from ingredient suppliers brings added value to customers in this world of increasingly complex cosmetic formulations. To meet this demand, since 2013, May 1st, a Personal Care Technical Service Manager based on the silicone technical platform near Kuala Lumpur is developing creative and innovative guide formulations for BRB customers across the globe.
BRB will exhibit for the fourth time at In-Cosmetics Europe in Hamburg, on 1-3 April 2014 on booth 3K39. During the exhibition, BRB will release:
- a range of 7 new cosmetic formulations specially designed to fit the needs of our European customers
- a new product, a silicone quaternium micro emulsion for hair care

New product: BRB 5446: Silicone Quaternium microemulsion
INCI NAME: Aqua, Silicone Quaternium-17, trideceth-7, trideceth-5, Methylchloroisothiosolinane and methylisothiosolinane
BRB 5446 is a clear, non-ionic micro-emulsion of a quaternary ammonium functional silicone
