The Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund, now in its third year, sets out to empower the future of the beauty industry through educational scholarships and training in the US and UK

Cécred and BeyGOOD Foundation have launched the third year of the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund.

Both founded by singer and entrepreneur Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, hair care brand Cécred and public charity BeyGOOD Foundation have come together to offer funding for the next generation of hairstylists across the US and the UK.

This funding will support hairstylists through educational scholarships and training opportunities as Cécred continues its investment into future hair professionals.

Now in its third year, the initiative will see the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund offer ten institutions a grant of US$25,000 each, totaling a $250,000 commitment across both the US and UK.

Since its inception in 2024, the fund has awarded $1m in student scholarships and salon business grants, across 133 students and salon owners.

For 2026, the fund is aiming to award an increased number of schools (from five to ten), providing tuition support to help keep beauty education affordable.

Recipients will be selected and awarded funding based on enrollment at the partner school, their track to graduate, demonstrated financial need and passion and purpose.

"As a licensed cosmetologist and former salon owner, I will never forget my own beginnings at Franklin School and the pure passion it takes to succeed in this craft," said Tina Knowles, Cécred’s Vice Chairwoman and Chair of the Board of Directors at BeyGOOD Foundation.

"Today, the cost of tuition, tools, and equipment is hitting record highs, making it harder for aspiring cosmetologists to afford their education.

“By expanding our grants from five to ten schools this year, we are providing vital financial support so these talented students can focus on their training and pursue their passions.

“We are committed to uplifting the next generation of hair professionals and giving them the tuition support they need.”

This year, commitment goes beyond financial support as BeyGOOD implements a comprehensive support and tracking system for its partners and scholarship recipients.

This programme will monitor key milestones, including graduation, licensure results, and job placement, to measure the Fund’s real-world impact.

Grace Ray, CEO at Cécred, added: “At Cécred, we think deeply about the ecosystem that shapes a stylist’s career, from education to career growth.

“Expanding the fund to ten partner schools across the US and UK allows us to focus on making an impact here in a more sustained way.

“We are supporting students as they build confidence and community in this industry and help ensure that the future of hair is as diverse and dynamic as the communities it serves."
