LLB Specialties subsidiary Charkit Chemical Company has acquired the assets of ChayseChem, a North American distributor of fine chemicals.
ChayseChem was established in 2010 as a privately held distributor representing manufacturing partners in the US, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. It serves as a distributor for Hungarian phosgene-derivatives manufacturer Framochem, a Vandemark company.
Through this transaction, Connecticut-based Charkit will acquire the North American distribution rights for Framochem products, as well as other materials represented by ChayseChem.
Additionally, Chris Klumph, VP Business Development at ChayseChem, will join the Charkit sales organisation.
