L’Oréal Paris has named Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc as Global Ambassador.
Leclerc, who drives for Ferrari, will work with the brand on both its L’Oréal Paris Men Expert and L’Oréal Paris hair care and hair styling ranges, created to “help men foster self-care and self-confidence”.
“I will always associate L’Oréal Paris with my mother,” said Leclerc.
“She is a hairdresser, so I grew up seeing L’Oréal Paris products all around the house and watching the adverts on television.
“I am so grateful to have such strong women in my life and am incredibly proud to be joining a brand that stands for female empowerment.
“I truly believe that men’s strength comes through [the] support and partnership of this mission.”
As a brand ambassador for L’Oréal Paris, Leclerc joins the likes of Bridgerton and The Devil Wears Prada 2 star Simone Ashley, model Kendall Jenner and fellow Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz.

“We are thrilled to welcome Charles to L'Oréal Paris,” said Laetitia Toupet, L’Oréal Paris Global President.
“His permanent quest of excellence, his determination and resilience coupled with his sensitivity, his curiosity, his groundedness, and his empathy are a great example and inspiration.
“And that is exactly the kind of role model the world needs today.
“Charles not only represents a hugely aspirational figure, but he embodies our belief that women’s empowerment is not a women-only fight.
“It becomes real when men and women stand strong together.”
This is not the first crossover between beauty brands and Formula 1.
Last year, Givenchy Parfums named driver Pierre Gasly as ambassador for its Gentleman Givenchy line of men’s fragrances.
Elemis also invested in Formula 1, signing a multi-year deal to be Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 team’s first-ever skin care partner and signing Formula 1 racer Jessica Hawkins as ambassador.
More recently, Sephora teamed up with F1 Academy to elevate female talent, with the retailer named official beauty retailer of the female-focused racing series.
