23 December 2013 turned out to be the most successful trading day in the retailer's 21 year history.
The Perfume Shop reported growth of 4.5% in the five weeks leading up to 28 December, compared with the same period in 2012.
This could have been helped by the company’s successful Christmas advertising campaign which featured an advert for the first time on Irish television. The Perfume Shop also cites a general increase in consumer confidence in the economy as a possible boost to sales.
