Clarins increases holding to 70%

The holding company of the Courtin-Clarins family - Financiere FC - now holds nearly 70% of the Clarins cosmetics group as part of its acquisition to control the company in order to remove it as a company listed on the Paris Bourse because of repeated rumours of hostile takeover. The operation has been criticised by representatives of minority shareholder interests.
