Clarins reports growth

Clarins says that an ambitious launch programme and strong performances from its existing products resulted in 8.5% like for like growth in first half 2006. Operating profit grew 10.1% to t52.2m. Net profit reached t41.5m, while group net sales rose 3% to t460.6m (up 8.5% at constant exchange rates). The company says that it is still aiming for 6% organic growth for fiscal 2006.
