Clarins has launched a new collection named Les Liquers De Parfums

Clarins owned beauty brand Thierry Mugler has refreshed its fragrance portfolio with the release of a new collection named Les Liquers De Parfums. True to the name of the range, the line sees four Theirry Mugler fragrances – Angel, Alien, Womanity and A*Men – “enhanced with the essence of fine spirits”.

Taking inspiration from vintage spirits, the creation process of the collection involved “ageing” each fragrance in wooden casks for six weeks. The combination of fragrance and wood is said to have enabled the brand to enhance its original creations with smooth, sweet notes. The casks were also heated, adding a touch of warmth of each fragrance.

Angel Liquer De Parfum features the scent of cognac, and was macerated for six weeks in toasted cherry wood casks for a smoky addition to the fragrance’s signature gourmand notes. Alien, on the other hand, was given added richness and depth through the scent of prestige cognac. Reflecting this, the scent has been updated with woody amber notes along with a subtle almond overtone.

Meanwhile, Womanity Liquer De Parfum has been inspired by vodka production techniques, giving it accents of dried fruit, hazelnut and spicy woody notes. Finally, for the men’s offering, A*Men Pure Malt has been updated with a peat-like facet that is associated with prestigious whiskies. Each fragrance will be priced between £40-£45, launching in October.
