Lancôme’s dry skin range Nutrix turns 70 this year and to celebrate the occasion the beauty brand has relaunched the line as Nutrix Royal. The original line was one of the first w/o emulsions available on the market, and since its launch in 1936 the brand has become one of Lancôme’s cornerstone skin care lines.
The new range now includes Royal Lipdéum, a triple action complex which is claimed to reactivate the natural cutaneous exfoliation process, stimulate lipid synthesis and deeply nourish the skin. The result, says Lancôme, is that skin is moisturised and left smooth, soft and comfortable without any tightness. The formula is also enriched with royal jelly, said to provide nutrients to the skin to help it renew its barrier. Vitamin Cg and hazelnut extract stimulate lipid synthesis, while beeswax and shea butter add extra moisturising capabilities. The product is available in a rich cream and lighter fluid.
