Gwen Stefani has signed a global licensing agreement with Coty to develop and market a line of fragrances for her L.A.M.B. brand. The first fragrance is expected to hit shelves in the autumn of next year and will mark Stefani's debut onto the beauty market.
"Creating a fragrance is one of the most prestigious things a designer can do. For me it's like another thing you can wear and another thing I can be creatively part of," commented Stefani.
The Stefani fragrance will add to Coty's already bulging celebrity stable, joining the likes of the Beckhams, Kylie and Sarah Jessica Parker. The celebrity fragrance market shows no sign of abating into 2007, with Arden's Mariah Carey licence also expected to bear fruit next year.
