Following its fragrance focus over the past few years, Coty Prestige is turning its attention to skin care, with the creation of Home Skin Lab, a new skin care brand inspired by facial plastic surgeon Dr Norman Pastorek and his wife Janice, a skin care expert.

Home Skin Lab will target women facing diverse skin problems and helps to support the cell renewal cycle, according to Coty. As a result the line will offer five different treatments – Ageless, to fight against the first signs of ageing; Wrinkl’ess, to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; Firmness, to help redensifiy the skin; Brightness, to brighten dull complexions, and Pureness, to help fight problems associated with oily skin.

Each line comprises a 28 day treatment, featuring three skin care products and an online educational programme, to help users enhance their skin’s condition through nutrition, wellness exercises and daily life balancing skills.

“The Home Skin Lab brand is a significant addition to Coty Prestige’s skin care portfolio,” said Bernd Beetz, ceo Coty Inc. “The development of this line strengthens our skin care offer and is Coty’s first step in its strategic direction to become a top five beauty company.”

The new skin care line will be launched simultaneously in the US and Europe, starting from September 2008.
