CPL Aromas and Parkim have announced the establishment of CPL Aromas Turkey in Istanbul. The business will initially focus on home and air care and the company says it will build on business already established in Turkey, which has become a key production base for many European brands and retailers.
With a population of 70 million, strategic location, growing affluence, movement towards EU entry and strong local market growth, Turkey offers an attractive base for many companies. CPL Aromas Turkey says it is the only foreign owned fragrance house with a local marketing, development and production service.
The partnership between CPL and Parkim was established by the two companies' founders nearly 30 years ago. This latest project has been developed by second generation company representatives Francis Pickthall, md CPL Middle East, and Ipek Mustecaplioglu, md Parkim.
