Daise is set to host a summer picnic-themed pop-up in London, UK, to celebrate the fragrance and body care brand's range of sensorial and mood-matching products.
Taking place at Battersea Power Station on 18 July, the immersive event is inspired by the success of Daise’s Candyland pop-up, which took place in December and marked its first foray into events.
Due to demand, the entry deadline for the Pure Beauty Awards has been extended until 24 July! Don't miss your chance to gain recognition from industry experts and consumers alike. Click here for more information.
However, Summer Picnic promises to be “bigger and better”, with a fragrance station, ice cream bar and photo pods, each of which are inspired by one of Daise’s products in real life.
“[Candyland] showed us how much our community wanted this with us,” Jaimee Lupton, founder of Daise, told Cosmetics Business.--ABSTRACTEND-
“So, for summer there was not really a debate, we knew we had to plan something bigger, [with] more custom builds and more little surprise and delight moments.
“What I want most is for people to walk away really feeling part of the Daise world, not just seeing the products, but living inside the mood of the brand for an afternoon.
“Whether you walk away with a new favourite scent, a great photo with friends, or a sweet whipped treat paired with our famous Foaming Body Wash, that is a win for us.”
Activities across the day-long non-ticketed event will include a Mist & Manifest Station, where guests can experience Daise’s fragrances.
A Whipped Creamery Bar will serve up soft-serve ice cream with a choice of toppings, inspired by Daise’s Foaming Body Whip.
Plus, the Petal Pod will offer visitors a social-worthy backdrop for photo and video content, inspired by Daise’s new Lip Balm Phone Pod.
“It has been a huge year of launches – and there is still more coming – so this is a celebration of newness alongside the favourites people already love,” said Lupton.
“Fragrance is the heart of it with consultations running all day so people can find their signature summer scent and play with layering across the range, from our Fragrance Body Mist, All Body Spray and Deodorant and brand-new Mini Fragrance Body Mist, with its own collectible Dollface charm.
“There is also a giant inflatable photo moment inspired by our new Lip Balm Phone Pods, and because a picnic needs something sweet, we have built a Daise Whipped Creamery Bar inspired by our bestselling Foaming Body Wash.”
Visitors will also be able to relax in dedicated picnic spaces, and be able to spend up to an hour at the whole event.
Plus, they will receive three full-sized Daise products to take home.
“We want it to feel like the best British summer picnic, with Daise stitched into every detail,” said Lupton.
“Beyond our three interactive stations, we have built proper chill zones with blankets and seating, plus a few classic garden games dotted about.
“It is less about one big flashy moment and more about giving people space to explore, slow down, grab a sweet treat, and maybe try a product they have not picked up before.”
Events such as Summer Picnic and Candyland are helping build a connection with the Daise community, says Lupton, with of Gen Z and Gen Alpha “naturally gravitating” to the location in Battersea, which has become a hub of leisure and retail.
“This is about building on what we started with Candyland and showing up for our community IRL more consistently,” she said.
“As we keep growing and launching more products and categories, it is a nice way to introduce some of that newness, but just as much it is about celebrating the hero bestsellers people know and love us for, that is always our anchor no matter how much we expand.
“Getting to do that hands on, with people actually trying things rather than scrolling past them, just feels more real.
“It is Daise's personality turned into something people can walk through, touch and take home.”
