Personalised skin care brand Dermatica is permanently closing its business in the US.

Operations in the country will cease permanently on 16 December, the brand said in an update to customers on its Instagram account.

Dermatica’s range of products will be available to buy in the US on its website until that date, while stocks last, the brand said in the post.

They may still be available to buy on Amazon, the beauty company added, and it is no longer accepting new subscribers based in the US.

Founded in 2018, Dermatica offers tailored skin care advice and treatment plans for a range of skin care issues, including acne, ageing, pigmentation and rosacea.

The UK-based brand expanded to the US in 2020.

In a statement to Cosmetics Business, a Dermatica spokesperson said: “After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close Dermatica in the US.
