The Dow Chemical Company has completed a capital investment for its Versene chelating agents. The investment is said to reinforce Dow's commitment to be a reliable supplier of chelants for current and future demand.
The new project supports the production of a variety of chelants including Versene CA sodium disodium EDTA and Versene Na disodium EDTA chelating agents. The two materials are said to help metal ions stay in solution.
“Providing our customers with the highest quality of chelating agents, on time, is critical to the success of our business,” explained Lori Putt, product manger. “This production improvement provides a modest capacity increase and will contribute significantly in reliability and production efficiency.”
