Dr. LeWinn’s sold to Valeant Pharmaceuticals

Pharmaceutical company Valeant Pharmaceuticals International has announced it has agreed to acquire Australian skin care company Private Formula International Holdings Ltd, whose portfolio includes Dr. LeWinn’s.


Pharmaceutical company Valeant Pharmaceuticals International has announced it has agreed to acquire Australian skin care company Private Formula International Holdings Ltd, whose portfolio includes Dr. LeWinn’s.

The agreement valued at $69m, also includes the purchase of Hissyfit, a newly launched anti-ageing skin care line, and Revitanail, a line of nail strengtheners, which also trade under the Renuanail name in the UK and US. The deal is expected to be finalised early this month.
