Dr. Squatch eyes gaming spend with Call of Duty soap collection

The range includes two deodorants and two soaps, with the collectable packaging paying homage to the video game's long-running history

Dr. Squatch has launched a new soap collection inspired by Call of Duty.

The collection includes two bar soaps and two deodorants based on the video game series’ characters Ghost and Soap, with what the brand described as bold and rugged scents. 

The collectable packaging also pays homage to the game's long-running history, with the franchise originally debuting on PC in October 2003. 

“Dr. Squatch has teamed up with Call of Duty to launch a limited edition collection inspired by two of the most legendary characters in the franchise: Lieutenant Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley and Sergeant John ‘Soap’ MacTavish,” the brand said in a statement. 

Included in the range are the Ghost Grit Bar Soap and Ghost Sticc Deodorant, which contains earthy notes of pepper, leather and smoky charcoal. 

The Sarge Soap Bar and Sarge Sticc Deodorant, meanwhile, uses Scottish juniper, pine, and moss for its primary scents. 

Each bar soap contains a code that unlocks exclusive in-game content for the latest entry Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and is available to buy via uk.drsquatch.com. 

The male grooming brand has been doubling down on collabs in recent years, with collections based on Star Wars, Marvel’s Avengers and the video game franchise Halo. 

It also hired actress Sydney Sweeney in 2024 to promote its body wash line. 

The 27-year-old became the brand's 'body wash genie' in a series of adverts where she played as the "ultimate grooming wish-granter for men". 

"She gives guys the natural, high-quality body wash made with real soap, ingredients from nature they’ve been dreaming of, leading them to the superior performance and irresistible scents only Dr. Squatch can provide," said the brand in a statement at the time. 

Founded in 2013, Dr. Squatch is a digital native brand that specialises in natural soaps and body care with the tagline for “men who want to feel like a man, and smell like a champion”.
