Eckart has created several new pigments, which were launched at last month's in-cosmetics in Munich.

The company has added to its Mirage range with Mirage Sparkling Luxury Gold and Mirage Bright Silver. The gold pigment is based on calcium sodium borosilicate coated with titanium dioxide and iron oxide with a particle size of 15-120µm. It boasts a “real gold” effect combining colour and sparkle and can be used pure or in combination with other pigments. Mirage Bright Silver meanwhile is a fine grade addition (15-70µm) to Eckart’s silvers range. It is said to impart a delicate and graceful look.

Also new to the Mirage range are two interference pigments, Mirage Glamour Blue and Mirage Glamour Green, both described as deep and intense with an ultra glossy appearance.

In addition, Eckart has extended its Prestige ST range with four new earth tone pigments (1-15µm) in bronze, copper, fire-red and beige and four surface treated interference pigments (1-15µm) in silver, gold, orange and red.
