Owners of Cotswold country house hotel Cowley Manor and its award winning C.Side spa, Jessica and Peter Frankopan, have been inspired by the surrounding English countryside to develop a natural bath and body range. The idea behind the collection was to capture the spirit of the British countryside using blends of herbs, flowers and plants native to the British Isles.
Extracts used include lavender, chamomile, rosemary, rosehip, red clover, elderflower, thyme, geranium, marshmallow, comfrey, dandelion, peppermint, fennel and rose and essential oil blends have been selected to create three ranges: Relaxing, Indulging and Revitalising.
Green & Spring says it uses 100% natural botanical materials free from parabens, SLS, SLES, PEGS, glycols, petrochemicals, synthetic colours and artificial fragrance. All aqueous products in the range contain natural spring water sourced from the Cowley estate and British birds adorn all packs.
Relaxing is inspired by aromatic kitchen herbs, blending the soothing fragrance of lavender with the nurturing and restorative properties of comfrey and rosemary. Products in this line include shower & bath foam, light bath oil, body lotion, hand wash, hand cream, shampoo and conditioner.
Indulging takes its inspiration from English country gardens, blending rose and jasmine with the comforting and restful properties of elderflower and red clover. Products are shower & bath foam, light bath oil, exfoliating body balm, body cream, hand wash and hand cream.
Revitalising is inspired by green, grassy fields, blending invigorating peppermint with the nourishing and stimulating properties of dandelion and fennel. Products here include shower & bath foam, light bath oil, body lotion, exfoliating body wash, hand wash and hand cream. Each range also includes a travel candle set.
The bath and body range is available exclusively in Liberty from this month and a skin care line is scheduled to follow in September, although a lip balm from this collection has already been launched.
Prices range from £14 to £28 and many of the products come in 300ml bottles.
