Beauty giant Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has reported fiscal 2018 net sales of $13.68bn, a 13% increase in constant currency, which the company said is ahead of global prestige beauty growth.

Net earnings for the period were recorded at £1.1bn, while diluted earnings per share were $2.95.

Sales outside North America were particularly strong, with international business accounting for almost 70% of the group’s sales.

Asia in particular stood out as a strong market, with sales in China topping $1bn for the first time.

It will remain a strategic priority for the company, said President and CEO Fabrizio Freda.
