The cosmetics ingredients working group of the European Union’s (EU) scientific committee on consumer safety has received new draft assessments about the risks of using four input chemicals: dichloromethane, kojic acid, soytrimonium chloride and furfural.
The working group is awaiting the results of studies on the safety of zinc pyrithione and benzoisothiazolinone.
