The EU cosmetics ingredients working group has received draft assessments of four input chemicals


The cosmetics ingredients working group of the European Union’s (EU) scientific committee on consumer safety has received new draft assessments about the risks of using four input chemicals: dichloromethane, kojic acid, soytrimonium chloride and furfural.

The working group is awaiting the results of studies on the safety of zinc pyrithione and benzoisothiazolinone.
