Eugene Perma moves production out of the UK

The Eugene Perma (EG) group, which produces the Petrole Hahn hair lotion together with shower gels and shampoo products, has moved its entire production from Nottingham in the UK back to its French plant in Reims.


The Eugene Perma (EG) group, which produces the Petrole Hahn hair lotion together with shower gels and shampoo products, has moved its entire production from Nottingham in the UK back to its French plant in Reims.

EG started production in June and is now running at a rate of three million bottles annually. Group president Didier Martin said the ‘made in France’ designation would be advantageous given existing competition from global brands. The brand was acquired from Procter & Gamble in 1998.
