in-cosmetics Asia is to introduce a new concept at this year’s show offering tailored business advice to attendees.
The ‘Ask the Experts’ clinics have been designed to help visitors get the most out of their visit to the show and will comprise of a 30 minute one-to-one consultation with a leading business professional.
The appointments, which will cost $20 (SGD30) can be pre-booked on-line, and delegates are encouraged to include a short brief on their desired area of knowledge. Experts will then carry out research prior to the appointment. Advice will be available on a variety of areas including patents, regulations, intellectual property, consumer research, branding, and marketing. Appointments will also be available at the show for $40 (SGD60) a session, although they cannot be guaranteed, say organisers.
The team of experts includes Dr Alain Khaiat, senior intellectual expert on cosmetics safety, quality and efficacy; lawyer Chris Chong; Erwin Baumgartner from the Global Intelligence Alliance and TNBT’s David Phey, who will be available to answer questions on branding and marketing communications.
“Given that the industry is facing a challenging time, we are looking for the most successful ways to work with our visitors to inspire new product development and generate business,” commented Sarah Gibson, in-cosmetics Asia exhibition manager. “”The Ask the Experts clinic will do just that by giving visitors one-on-one customised sessions to help address any queries they may have.”
