Fragrance brand Floris London has extended its line of unisex scents.
The new Vert Fougère edp (£120) is said to be a blend of dark green notes and woody accords.
Its bittersweet formula features grapefruit, galbanum, bergamot, neroli and ginger, with a base of cashmere, cedarwood, amber and patchouli.
Italian perfumer Nicola Pozzani and Floris’ Perfumery Director Edward Bodenham created the scent.
“Revolutionary in its composition, fougère to me is a marriage made of opposites, crisp, smart freshness versus sensuous, indulgent warmth,” said Pozzani.
“It’s sparkle and mystery, light and shade, it’s citrus herbal notes mingling with the woody oriental.”
Meanwhile, Bodenham said he envisioned a “garden of twilight” when developing the scent.
Traditionally fougère has been predominantly used is used in male scents but has crept into the women’s and unisex market in recent months, including Tom Ford’s Fougère Platine edp.
The scent will launch on 5 September.
