It is claimed to increase cellular energy levels and help skin cells fight against stress and has been substantiated in vitro on human keratinocytes and fibroblasts.
A liquid extract, Oli’Vîne is water-soluble and contains a mineral complex that is bioavailable for human skin cells. According to Gattefossé, this is what gives Oli’Vîne an advantage over other stone extracts, many of which it claims are non-soluble powdered stones.
The mineral concept makes Oli’Vîne ideal or use in men’s products, says Gattefossé.
