Gerresheimer wins FiFi for Armani design

Gerresheimer has received a FiFi for its bottle for the Attitude by Giorgio Armani fragrance. Its lacquer-black glass flacon won the award for best packaging in the men’s prestige category. According to Gerresheimer, the bottle’s lines, rectangular shape and chrome hinged closure echo an elegant cigarette lighter in an art deco style.

A light reflecting effect is achieved through the use of colour-sprayed glass, while rhombus shaped depressions spread across the front and back of the flacon create an interplay of effects as light is reflected in the high gloss and then sinks back into the black.
